Extensive expertise in building with wood in urban spaces on 24/25 August in Berlin

What major advantages does building with wood offer in terms of carbon footprint? And what role can and will timber construction play in the future? These and many other fascinating questions will be addressed by the experts and congress attendees in presentations and discussions. Other themed blocks will cover subjects such as wood in the circular economy and Berlin’s building policy for urban living, working and learning. One block will include a presentation of ‘The flying classroom’, which we created as a school building pilot project for the District Office of Tempelhof-Schöneberg.
