Wooden complete gritting facility, Bad Rappenau

To guarantee a quick filling of vehicles, a salt storage hall with a loading silo was built. The loading of the gritting material silo is done via a pneumatic modular conveyor system, whose feed hopper is loaded from the hall. This enables the silo to be filled at less busy times and grit to be removed quickly when demand is high. The system is equipped with a powerful, fully automatic brine generator (8 000 l/h), which extracts the salt directly from the silo, and a brine storage tank with a volume of 40 000 l. This guarantees a constant supply of brine in the tank.
