In Wattwil in the canton of St.Gallen, two existing silos were replaced. The two pressure-impregnated spruce/fir silos were enlarged in such a way that the storage capacity for salt was increased by a total of 120 m3 and now amounts to 160 m3 per silo. With the replacement of the silos, the clearance height and width were optimized at the same time - thanks to the adaptation of the cubic steel substructure. The substructure was placed on the existing reinforced foundations.
