The Lattich project received the prestigious SVSM Award on Tuesday afternoon. The Swiss Association for Location Management (SVSM) presents this annual award for particularly innovative projects in the location management, location development and business development sectors.

Ten projects from different regions of Switzerland competed for the awards this year.  The Lattich project was able to take home the award on Tuesday together with the project ‘Welcome to Biel’.

Lattich is an exemplary construction for temporary use and a location promotion initiative almost entirely funded by private resources, with investment at slightly over CHF 3 million. In his laudatory speech, the jury president Michael Domeisen praised the fact that the project has created a visible focal point for the creative industry ‘and in an extremely short amount of time. With a limited budget, it has been successful in quickly generating a positive perception. And has become a beacon not only for the creative industry but also for the entire city and region.’

«‘We are proud that the project is also finding national recognition.’»
