Our laminated timber products offer a wide range of options for structural timber construction and are, of course, made from Swiss wood.
At our laminating facility at Blumer Lehmann’s headquarters in Gossau, St. Gallen, we produce laminated timber in a variety of shapes and for a variety of uses. Laminated timber consists of parallel or cross-laminated layers of timber and is therefore very dimensionally stable and strong. The following designs complement our existing range of timber products: laminated timber (glulam), framing timber, cross-laminated timber CLT, parallel-laminated timber (PLT) and innovative laminated timber panels for a wide variety of constructions. The timber is fed directly from the sawmill to the laminating facility. This shortens transport distances, strengthens regional value creation and ensures consistently high quality, from the logs to the finished component.
Our laminated timber products bear the Swiss wood label. The timber comes primarily from local forests and undergoes all processing at our Gossau site. This saves energy during production and creates planning security for building owners, architectural firms and timber construction companies. In addition to the tried-and-tested laminated timber products made from Swiss wood, we offer newly developed solid timber panels for modern timber construction: CLT-clever is a resource-efficient cross-laminated timber, while CLT-curved enables unique curved designs.
