Largest modular silo facility directly at the Chur South motorway exit with a storage volume of 2,300 m³ of salt. The facility has 4 modular silos with a capacity of 500 m³ each and 1 modular silo with a capacity of 300 m³. In addition to the silo facility, a brine plant with a brine generator and 2x40'000 l tank capacity as well as a service room with kitchen and toilet were built. The salt is extracted fully automatically by means of strain gauges and can be conveniently done from the operating platform. In addition, the plant has a return conveyor system installed underground with a conveying volume of approx. 10 t/h. For optimal protection, the silo facility was equipped with an architecturally designed larch façade and roller doors.
