Tasks
- You have an eye for timber and sort sawn timber according to quality criteria.
- You get our sorting and finger-jointing lines up and running.
- You set up and reconfigure machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly.
- You identify and remove defects in the timber to get the best out of every piece of wood.
- You keep a close eye on quality and safety, ensuring that only first-class timber products leave our factory.
Requirements
- You’re no stranger to wood. Ideally, you’ll have training or experience in the timber industry (e.g. as a woodworker, timber industry specialist or sawmill operator).
- Do you enjoy working with wood, are you interested in machinery, and do you like to get stuck in? Then the timber industry is the perfect fit for you.
- You’re reliable, think on your feet, keep track of everything and speak fluent German.
- Shift work fits in well with your daily routine.
