As a Draftsperson EFZ specialising in Architecture, you create plans and technical drawings for construction projects, including design and execution plans, sketches, and models for all types of buildings such as residential homes, shopping centres, office buildings, and industrial facilities. You work according to the specifications of architects and site managers and support them throughout all project phases. When developing construction solutions, you perform mathematical calculations and take into account scientific principles as well as building regulations and legal requirements.

Tasks

The apprenticeship as a Draftsperson EFZ specialising in Architecture lasts four years. You will acquire the theoretical foundations at vocational school one to two days per week, depending on the year of apprenticeship. At our Erlenhof site, we provide your practical training. In addition to vocational school and on-the-job training, industry experts will further develop your practical skills and professional knowledge through multi-day inter-company courses.

Requirements

Do you have good grades in mathematics and science subjects and are you fluent in German? If you also possess the following skills, you may have what it takes to become a Draftsperson specialising in Architecture:
