Tasks
• You coordinate the loading and unloading of lorries and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• You check incoming goods and store them correctly.
• You actively assist with order picking.
• You prepare orders from the warehouse or production for dispatch.
• You will create delivery notes and amend them as required.
• You will carry out parcel transfers, check incoming deliveries and ensure correct documentation.
• You will be responsible for the operation of the high-bay warehouse. You will resolve minor faults and carry out simple maintenance tasks.
• You will play an active role in process optimisation within the warehouse and logistics sector.
Requirements
- Completed training in logistics, the timber industry or a comparable profession
- High level of physical stamina and a willingness to get stuck in
- Good IT skills
- Quick learner and ability to familiarise yourself rapidly with new tasks
- Independent and reliable working style
- SUVA-approved forklift licence (ideally category R3)
- Team-oriented personality who enjoys working with others
- Resilient, able to work in all weathers and flexible regarding working hours and tasks
