The replacement construction of the gritting silo facility is a very functional consisting of two round wooden silos with a capacity of 200m3 each. The city of Gossau deliberately did without highly engineered components and instead relies on proven mechanics such as the manual and height-adjustable filling funnel or the manual filling level measurement.

In addition, the pre-greyed larch façade gives the grit silos a timeless and simple design.
