The silo and salt facility in St. Anton was implemented in 2025 for ASFINAG and includes a compact 24 m³ brine system for winter road maintenance operations. The installation combines a Quanto-type salt dissolving unit with a brine storage tank system, measuring and weighing technology, and an integrated desludging screw to ensure a safe and efficient process flow.

Thanks to its clearly structured layout and robust construction, the facility is suitable for reliable year-round operation in an alpine environment. The technical equipment supports precise concentration control, stable brine production, and low-maintenance operation. This makes the plant a functional and durable solution for winter service logistics in St. Anton.
