A new building for more production capacity

The modular, expandable production hall with an area of 5400 m2 will house element and module production as well as storage and logistics. The actual production area is 27 m wide and constructed without columns. The building is designed as a timber frame structure. Optimised prefabrication was the focus for the facade design. The facade slats are therefore already installed horizontally or vertically during element production.

The office wing, made of seven of our own second-life timber modules, is a separate building on the site. The site uses a heat pump and a photovoltaic system for its energy supply.

The company premises, located on a greenfield site, gave the team the unusual task of first having the ground inspected and then incorporating the nesting and breeding seasons of the wild animals into the project planning.
