At our Steinau an der Straße facility, we manufacture the components and modules for innovative timber construction projects throughout Germany. In our state-of-the-art production hall, approximately 40 employees apply their craftsmanship to produce these components and modules. Our assembly team then assembles them into timber structures based on custom architectural designs: schools, office buildings, residential and commercial buildings.

The new production facility in Steinau an der Straße will open in early 2027. It will replace the existing plant in Großenlüder and will thus become the new workplace for the Großenlüder team.
Tasks
- Responsibility for stocking and operating the warehouse for our production and assembly departments, as well as maintaining our in-house machinery
- Processing incoming and outgoing goods for our production department and maintaining the inventory management system
- Preparing and sending out inquiries, assisting in obtaining quotes, and participating in price and terms negotiations.
- Ordering materials and ensuring procurement meets deadlines, quality standards, and demand, as well as independently implementing maintenance and repair contracts through effective collaboration with suppliers
- Working closely with logistics, production, assembly, cost estimation, and project management.
Requirements
- Completed business training or continuing education, preferably with a background in the trades, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency in handling quotes and price comparisons, as well as strong numerical skills and analytical thinking
- Independent, organized, and meticulous work style
- Good IT skills (merchandise management system, Microsoft Office)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers
- Ideally, initial professional experience in purchasing wood and building materials, as well as a good command of German
