Short-term office building

As general contractor, Blumer Lehmann planned, manufactured and installed an entire three-storey temporary office building for the Lausanne transport authority in just a few short months.

The office building covers a total of 875 m2 gross floor area and is equipped with everything that an administrative building needs: nine office spaces ranging in size from 10 to 63 m2, a conference room with a floor space of 31 m2, a smaller meeting room and a telephone room, a reception area, sanitary facilities, building services and cleaning rooms and even a large canteen are all housed in the building.

The three storeys were constructed in a modular design with a steel substructure serving as a foundation. A combination of air-to-water heat pump, multi-split air conditioning system and a roof covered end-to-end in photovoltaic panels supplies the building with sustainable energy.

Two years after completion, the office building was given a new facade of dark-grey solid core Duropal panels with a black core.
