SCHULBAU, the international trade fair for educational construction, was held on 11 and 12 September 2019 in Berlin. A large crowd, including selected speakers and visitors from all areas of the school system, was in attendance to learn about educational construction in Germany and abroad.

With countless schools both in Berlin and throughout the federal state in need of reconstruction and renovation in the foreseeable future and additional school places required, the event attracted a high level of interest.

Blumer-Lehmann AG was represented at the trade fair by Migga Hug, modular construction sales, and Lukas Osterwalder, timber construction sales and project development. On our stand, we unveiled our new school building concept developed by our timber construction engineers and planners over recent months.

The new concept comprises flexible timber modular constructions that can be adapted to requirements both in terms of size and facilities, allowing clients to benefit from rapidly available space. A further advantage of the modular construction method is the high level of certainty in terms of costs and deadlines.
